The organization is committed to supporting the dignity, safety, and well-being of Afghan refugees and host communities in Pakistan. As part of
our ongoing humanitarian efforts, we are seeking a committed and compassionate individual to join our team as a Protection Facilitator. This
role will focus on delivering specialized protective services to vulnerable populations, including women, children, persons with disabilities, and
other at-risk groups residing in District Haripur.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate identification, referral, and follow-up of individuals in need of protection services
- Managing the operations of Protection Resource Center (PRC)
- Conduct protection assessments and ensure accurate documentation in accordance with organizational guidelines and confidentiality
standards. - Organize and facilitate awareness-raising sessions on protection-related topics.
- Work closely with case workers (SRSP, IRC), legal advisors (SHARP), medical professionals (DHQ, RHC and BHUs), YWCs and
community mobilization associate (CMA) to ensure coordinated service delivery. - Maintain strong relationships with local communities, elders, refugee representatives, and service providers to foster trust and
collaboration. - Prepare regular reports, data collection, and case documentation (Facilitation Data Entry).
- Any other relevant task assigned by Project Manager.
Required Qualifications and Experience: - Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Human Rights, Development Studies, or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus).
- At least 2 to 3 years of experience in protection work, preferably in humanitarian or refugee contexts.
- Proven knowledge of protection principles, case management, and gender-based violence response.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage sensitively with people from diverse backgrounds.
- Fluency in Urdu and Pashto is essential; working knowledge ofDari or Farsi is an asset.
- Familiarity with local context and cultural sensitivities in District Haripur is highly desirable.
- Computer literacy (MS Office, data entry tools).
